You'll shoot your eye out...

Ahhh, back to S.C. from an enjoyable but always interesting Christmas vacation at home. I entitle this photo collection "Christmas Is...", because

Christmas is...

(1) Deer Jerky. Not only did this treat make an appearance in our stockings, but the high prized smoked (as opposed to dehydrated) version was "Hands off."


(2) Homemade vanilla. For some reason, the fam refuses to buy vanilla extract in the store...and why should you?? Just add two vanilla beans to some vodka, soak for three months and enjoy!


(3) Turkeys in the yard.



(4) My brother's upper arms...I have not further comments.
Otherwise, Christmas was rather uneventful, aside from a few screams of "Man down!" as we watched the tree take a nose-dive onto the living room carpet...HAHA...damn why didn't I get a picture of that?!?!

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year!! (Better would have eaten that pork and sauerkraut...I did...it was delicious...it was 12:30 am...in a bar...and delicious...
